Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Mechanical Engineer on a Permanent basis based on the outskirts of Witney, Oxfordshire.This will be working Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm, with the occasional Saturday in case of business needs.Own Transport would be needed due to location.The role is paying between 28k-33k depending on experience.DutiesYou will be required to build/assemble all mechanical components on bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles.Experience

• Preferred candidates will have experience with vehicle building (ideally HGV)
• Supervisory experience would be a benefit
• Some form of experience with aircraft refuelling vehicles-would be beneficial but not essential

Essential Skills

• Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools (drills, grinders, riveting etc)
• Interpretation of engineering data (Drawings, schematics etc)
• Basic Fabrication Skills
• Basic Level of H&S understanding
• Fluent in English
• Driving licence/Car

Highly Desirable Skills

• Experience in pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems
• Welding (TIG/MIG)
