My client, a well-established Global manufacturer is now recruiting for a highly skilled class 1 welder/fabricating engineer to become a key member supporting the Manufacturing Department.This is a permanent full-fime position. Salary is between £23-£26K plus overtime Equivalent of £12 to £13.50ph and excellent non salary benefitsResponsibilities:Fabricate parts from drawingsClass 1 Fabrication to BS EN 287, ASME IX, 15614, NORSOK M601Prepare parts for welding (saw, pillar drill, grinding, pipe bending, pipe threading, weld preparation)Welding activities to class 1 standards using TIG/MIG/MAG/Flux Core welding on common welded jointsSkills:Experience within a similar environmentConsiderable fabrication experience - stainless steelStrong Welding skills TIG/MIG/MAG/FCAWCircular fabrication experience would be advantageousMechanical backgroundAbility to read Manufacturing DrawingsUsed to having work X-Ray testedExcellent verbal & written communication skillsThe desire and ability to contribute to the teamIf you have the all the skills outlined above and looking to work with a growing, well established company then please get in touch.This role is commutable from Peterborough Stamford Grantham Corby Kettering Market Harborough Melton Mowbray Oakham Spalding Bourne Colesterworth Corby Glen StrettonSouth Witham, RutlandAlternative Job Titles: Manufacturing - Fabricator Welder, Welder, Mig, Tig, Mag, Manufacturing Operative, Process Operative, fabricator Required skills
