araplannerStamford Based £30,000 - £35,000 Hybrid Working is available (after initial training)NJR are currently representing a well-established Financial Planning practice, who are known for providing bespoke Solutions to a growing Client bank of high-net-worth individuals, as a result of their continued growth they are now seeking an experiencedand technically minded Paraplanner to join their team.The main purpose of your role will be to prepare written advice and provide technical research services to a team of Financial Planners. You will ensure that the preparation of advice for clients (both internal and external) is of the highest quality anddelivered in an efficient manner; whilst mitigating any risks to the organisation as well as assisting with the achievement of Business targets.The chosen candidate would need to be personable, friendly and someone who can work well as part of a busy, professional IFA team. Effective communication, keen eye for detail and time management are the key ingredients to ensure that paraplanning is deliveredto a very high standard.Your primary role as Paraplanner would be to provide this high end technical paraplanning training and support to the financial advisers. As well as supporting financial advisers you may be asked to provide general assistance to the Directors/Managers andAdministration staff.Responsibilities & Accountabilities:- To determine and deliver the most appropriate solutions and providers.- Collating information from existing pension/investment portfolios.- Undertake the necessary research and analysis including fund analysis, product comparison, product analysis, fund research and charges analysis to enable a sound client recommendation to be made.- Working through adviser fact finds and supporting material.- Construct Suitability Reports for advisers.- Create cash flow (retirement income) reports for advisers.- Provide all support material for client recommendation including illustrations and application documents.- Provide technical support to the adviser.- Preparation of annual client reviews.- Liaise effectively with clients, product providers, associations, and other departments.- Prioritising personal workload.- All the above in a compliant manner as set down by the Company and the Regulators procedures.- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management/directors.Key skills require:- Retirement Planning - Occupational Pensions - Defined Benefit - Personal Pensions - Defined Contribution etc.- Competent in completing pension switches/transfers from start to finish- Drawdown - Flexi-access drawdown etc.- Annuities- Confidently complete TVAS/APTA requests- Investments - ISA, General Investment Accounts etc.- Mortgage Knowledge- Protection - Life, CIC, Income Protection etc.- Estate Planning - Wills, IHT etc.- Write HOLISTIC suitability reports- Good use of English, including writing skills- Systems- Seletapension or O&M knowledge- IO knowledge is an advantage- MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerpointOur client is looking for someone with a can-do attitude, who can deliver a first-class service to clients as well as having the ability to build strong relationships and displaying professionalism at all times.For further information please contact one of our specialist consultants.
