Job Description

The One Group are recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join an accountancy firm based in Stamford who have prioritised creating a supportive, vibrant and collaborative office culture. This role will see you working on a full time, permanent basis and learningthe ropes as you go. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the timely completion of all aspects of accounts preparation and management reporting for clients, working for and taking direction from account managers
  • Data entry and ledger management
  • General bookkeeping
The ideal candidate would be either a Graduate, looking for their first step into accountancy or if you are working your way through your AATs within industry and looking for a role that can really put you on a career path.This position will be hands on, and therefore drive and ambition are essential attributes as well as having good excel skills and a want to learn.Being on-site five days a week it is essential you can commute to Stamford.In return you will be offered:
  • £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays & shut down over Christmas and New Year
