Restaurant Supervisor / Duty ManagerStamford – Lincolnshire£9.50 Per hour (Full-time, Permanent)Do you have experience in hospitality and an enthusiasm for the food and beverage industryI’m working with an extravagant hotel in Stamford, currently looking for a full-time, permanent front of house, food and beverage supervisor to join their busy, friendly, front of house team. Set on the border of the magnificent Burghley Park, this quirky 27-bedroom hotel offers a stunning 2 rosette restaurant, bar and terrace as well as catering for weddings, conferences and social events in our various function rooms, marquee and gardens.Requirements:

  • FOH Supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and day shifts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager
  • Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that standards and steps of service are met through all guests’ interactions.
  • Ensuring that checklists, and proper opening and closing functions are being completed each shift.
  • Communicate effectively, to provide clear direction to the staff.
  • Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.
  • Remain calm and alert, especially during heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for the staff and other hotel employees.
  • Ensure basic standard operating procedures for all outlets are in place and are compiled by.
