Job Description

Laboratory Technician Apprentice Liquidsun is a premium manufacturer of food supplements in Tablet, Capsule and Powder forms. Following on from the success of previous apprentices, Liquidsun UK are looking to bring on 2 new apprentices to join the quality control department.This role is perfect for anyone who wants to develop a career in manufacturing, quality, and compliance.Some of following core activities include:

  • Assisting the QC Manager in the running of quality control functions
  • Performing hygiene checks before production starts
  • Preparing raw materials for testing, including identification and sampling of capsules, tablets, liquids
  • Recording information using our ERP system for the generation of quality documentation and traceability
  • Calibrating apparatus for testing
  • Ensuring that stock levels are maintained, and future requirements are identified
  • General laboratory maintenance
  • Disposing of waste materials
  • Carrying out and following risk assessments for technician activities
The Advanced Level Apprenticeship (Level 3 Laboratory Technician) provides individuals with a sound knowledge base that can support them in undertaking further learning and development of their careers.The PackageAt Tiro, we make great things happen for people.   • Starting salary of £12,000 per year
  • Working pattern is Monday - Friday 8:00-16:00 (if any overtime is required, will give time in lieu).
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Workings hours are 40 hours per week
