Job Description

Previously worked within a Document Control positionHave you worked within the construction industryA returning client of Reed Staines are on the hunt for a new Technical Administrator & Document Controller to join them on a permanent basis.Working from the regional head office in Staines, this role will require you to maintain/update the Document Control system and provide a full and professional administrative support service to the Technical Team and the Technical Director.Key duties include:

  • Provide and be fully responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the document control system.
  • Provide general secretarial PA support.
  • Appointment documents and collateral warranties.
  • Organise team training.
  • Manage the technical team holiday planner.
  • Review Consultant insurance details and manage changes.
  • Assisting with setting up of standard trackers and spreadsheets.
  • Attend meetings, including taking, typing and distribution of notes.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, personable and welcoming, with the ability to keep calm under pressure. You will be self-motivated, be able to work unsupervised using your own initiative and have excellent organisational skills to be able to meetdeadlines under time pressures. Experience working in a similar role, working in an office environment and excellent customer service skills are essential for this role as you will need to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues. Additionally,you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent IT skills being proficient in Microsoft packages.Monday to Friday£35,000 - £40,000
