They have a fantastc opportunity for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join them at this exciting stage of growth.RoleThis technically hands onrole will see you providing bothoperational as well as strategic supportin the planning and development of an appropriate cyber security operational plan by making key contributions to the development of security architecture, services and systems within the organisation.This role offers a fantastic opportunity for ahands onindividual who is looking to have strong involvement in the designing, implementation and leadership of new security solutions within thisorganizationResponsibilitiesManagethe operation of appropriate security controlsActon vulnerability information and conductsecurity risk assessmentsInvestigate & monitor major breaches of security,recommending promptappropriate control improvementsPerformrisk assessment, business impact analysis and accreditation for all major information systems within the organisationEnsurethat procedures are in place for investigation of system access enquiries referred by support staffReviewnew business proposals and planned technical changes and providespecialist guidance on security issues and implicationsServe as front line response for troubleshooting low-level engineering issues as neededActas the first point of action or escalation for the identification of incidents in security and their investigationCollaboration withIT technical teams for issue resolution and mitigationEnsurethat any system changes required to maintain security are implementedPerformdocumentation reviews and improvementsEssential SkillsExperience in delivering solutions using new and emerging technology/policy and industry best practiceKnowledge & experience of cybersecurity landscape, development methodologies and best practicesLeadership and team management experienceApplication Support and Troubleshooting KnowledgeExperience with using service desks (any package)Ability to convey detailed technical information to a variety of audiences including senior management.Proven analytical and problem solving skillsExperience and interest in technology roadmaps and innovation and an ability to identify opportunities to apply new technologiesSolid and demonstrable comprehension of Information Security including malware, emerging threats, attacks, and vulnerability managementStrong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem solving, and prioritization skillsSubject matter expert (SME) in one or multiple areas such as Windows, Unix, firewalls, intrusion detection, threat detection analysis, or computer forensicDesirable SkillsWorking knowledge firewalls and switchesWorking knowledge of malware sandboxing technologiesWorking knowledge Vulnerability Management ProductsExposure to Office365 ATP, Azure, Palo Alto Firewalls, Sophos, NessusMonitor/action alerts from Sophos:ATP alerts from Palo AltoDocumenting Security Alerts Play-BookPlease email your CV to apply for this position
