Job Description

Full Job Description Right Now Group have opened a transport division and are looking for Owner Drivers to come and work in partnership with us. We are based in the heart of Heathrow and are looking for subcontractors to assist us with our transport requirements that are basedaround the Heathrow Area. You will be assisting with possibly both local and nationwide assignments. We are looking for Owner Drivers with access to:

  • LWB Sprinter or Luton Vans
  • 7.5T Vehicles
  • 18T Vehicles
  • Artics

Job Role
  • Flexibility is key to this role. We will be able to subcontract you require work and your invoices will be paid on a weekly basis.
  • Communication is essential with this role, our clients will require regular updates on the progress of the delivery / collection of their shipments. We will need to be able to get hold of you at all times for regular updates due to the nature of the work.
  • You may also be required to regularly carryout deliveries and collections from the local airlines / handling sheds at Heathrow Airport. We will need to complete a DBS (5 year criminal record check) and 5 years worth of references. (This would only be onthe basis if we was going to use you for Air Freight work)
  • Loading, checking and securing various loads into and out of your vehicle.
  • Ensuring paperwork signed correctly and returned promptly

If you wish to opt-out, you need to do so before your contract starts. To do this, please inform your consultant and sign and return the EAA opt-out form.
