Our client is a well-established specialist international trade solutions company with offices throughout the World. A well-respected freight forwarder, offering inbound and outbound services mainly for both trades to and from Australia, New Zealand, SouthAfrica and The Far East. Our clients service incorporates both modes of transport by sea and air with the co-operation of established overseas agency networks within these specific trades. We are now recruiting for the Heathrow office which is in Staines, for an Airfreight Imports Freight forwarding SpecialistYour role will involve the full Air freight cycle for Air Freight Import and will include taking and making bookings, quotations for air freight, completing air freight documentation, handling the full air freight imports cycle.In order to apply for this role, you will have experience and skills in the following...* Strong knowledge of airfreight forwarding* Air Freight Imports experience* Working knowledge of import customs clearance (ASM, Destin8, Sequoia)* General cargo (consol, back 2 backs). Aerospace / AOG experience would be an advantage We are looking for air freight experience gained in air freight imports You must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to a very strong team environment. You will be familiar with working in a pressurised environment and working to tight deadlines.The Salary is dependent on experience but circa £40,000 with some flexiblity for the right candidateContributory PensionBonus based on performance. Holiday1 day a week work from home
