Job Description

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working for a well - established Window & Door upvc fabricators based in Staffordshire. This company have been trading for over two decades and has an outstanding reputation for offering high quality products alliedwith excellent service to new build developments. They are looking to recruit an experienced Technical and Commercial Manager to join their successful team. This is a unique opportunity to undertake a very senior role within a growing business.The role:

  • Overseeing the quotation and tender process and subsequent administration including attending pre-start meetings on site
  • Working closely with Production Manager to ensure that factory output consistently remains ahead of installation deadlines
  • Liaise with site managers, head office staff and clients as needed
  • General admin duties to ensure day to day operations run smoothly
  • Oversite and ownership of their customer care division
  • Continuous review of production techniques and capacity, recommending upgrades to machinery as appropriate.
The candidate:
  • Have a proven track record of commercial awareness within the upvc industry. (Preferably within the new build sector)
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of window design and manufacturing
  • Good knowledge of business micros (essential)
  • Ability to read architectural & building drawings (essential)
  • CSCS card (desirable)
  • Have knowledge of modern window manufacturing (desirable)
  • Be a hands on and positive person
  • Ambitious and energetic
