Team Leader - Mechanical & ElectricalGrade 7 - £35,333.00 - £43,414.00Full TimeThe Opportunity This post represents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a team of staff in Keele Universitys Estate and Campus Services Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for delivering a comprehensive, efficient and customer focused serviceacross a diverse range of activities to the Keele University community.The successful candidate will lead, manage & supervise a team of in-house staff, in the effective delivery of a repairs & maintenance service, encompassing all campus buildings and the site wide infrastructure. Ensuring a high quality of service is beingdelivered to the best value for money, whilst ensuring that service delivery is flexible and agile to respond to the Universitys needs.You will have completed a formal apprenticeship & possess a City & Guilds certificate or equivalent.You will have either domestic / commercial gas qualifications or City & Guilds 236 Part 2 Electrical Installation work or equivalent Level 3 Certificate in design, erection, and verification of Electrical Installations (Practical and Written)C&G 2400 Building Regs DE1/001 electrical.You will also be prepared to enhance qualifications in either Mechanical or Electrical fields as requiredThe successful applicant will have significant post qualification experience along with excellent organisation, planning, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage and work well within a teamThe BenefitsThe University recognises that its success depends upon the contribution and dedication of its talented staff.
