They are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join their established team. Youll take charge of an expanding and wide-ranging portfolio of clients.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior to take on a new challenge, or for someone with experience as a Tax Assistant who is looking for an opportunity with future progression. As the Tax Senior, youll head up a dedicated team servicinga large and growing portfolio of personal and business tax clients. Working as part of their taxation team, duties for the Tax Senior will include: * Managing a portfolio of tax clients* Preparing self-assessment tax returns, with some exposure to Corporation tax* Completing P11Ds* Dealing with HMRC* Building excellent relationships with clients* Liaising with colleagues internally on tax compliance issues* Liaising with clients on tax compliance issues and ensuring their tax affairs comply with* statutory requirements* Providing advice and guidance to clients to assist them in making tax savings* Working alongside our Tax Advisor in supporting with the delivery of more complex assignments including tax planning, business restructuring, inheritance tax, and HMRC tax clearances.* Conducting technical research and providing advice accordingly For the Tax Senior, it would be good to see candidates with: * At least two years of taxation experience gained within a professional services firm, working on clients of various sizes and in a variety of sectors* CTA, ATT, or qualified by experience (part qualified considered)* Demonstrable experience working within personal and corporate taxation and tax* Compliance* Experience of CCH advantageous but not essential* Demonstrable experience working in an advisory, client-facing role* Excellent and effective communication skills and the ability to provide proactive advice to clients in written and verbal formats* A team player that encourages and motivates others* A can-do attitude to problem-solving with the ability to think on your feet* Self-motivated with the ability to produce work in a timely manner and encourage excellence in others* Close attention to detail* Ambitious and career-oriented Hours: Monday - Friday 36.25 Hours per WeekSalary: Negotiable DOEBrampton Recruitment is an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region
