Job Description

Park Foster is part of the CareTech Family. Established in 1993, CareTech is a leading nationwide social care provider delivering a package of high quality, individually tailored care and support solutions to children, young people, and adults across the UK.We are recruiting a Supervising Social Worker to join our Outstanding’ OFSTED Fostering Service. The Supervising Social Worker will manage a caseload of foster carers, provide a high quality service and support to service users, proactively manage the referrals and placements and partake in the recruitment of new carers.Essential

  • Must be Registered with Social Work England
  • Hold a clean driving licence
  • Be proactive, creative and have passionate
  • Organised and committed to gaining the best outcomes for our Children
  • DipSW or equivalent qualified
  • 2 year’s social work experience in a fostering environment
  • Ability to understand and respond to clients and customers’ needs
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and customers
  • Able to keep up to date with Legislation and current child care best practice
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications/e-mail
