Job Description

RSR is a public safety, housing & enterprise security recruitment specialist. We assist public safety & housing employers find the right talent. We assist all employers when they want to source public safety, housing and enterprise security skills and experience.RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for a Strategic Procurement Lead.We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in healthcare and possess the skills and expertise to lead this crucial project.This is a full time, 6-month fixed term contract and offers a salary of £48,526 - £54,619.Some working from home is allowed (max 2 days per week), but there is a requirement for onsite working.Can be based in the Stafford or Stoke on Trent area.Main Duties:

  • Lead on complex, high-value contracts and tenders.
  • Utilise public sector procurement experience to navigate regulatory frameworks effectively.
  • Engage with senior organizational stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder projects efficiently.
  • Prepare, lead, and manage Public Contract Regulations 2015 processes and associated documentation.
  • Foster excellent supplier stakeholder management and engagement.
  • Lead a complex procurement project across the ICS, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • The 8C role must oversee and manage the 8A role for the entirety of the project.
  • Conduct competitive exercises via nationally approved frameworks.
  • Provide detailed feedback and reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Project manage a complex, high-value PCR procurement exercise.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading complex, high-value contracts and tenders.
  • Extensive public sector procurement experience.
  • Ability to engage with very senior organizational stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Proficiency in preparing, leading, and managing Public Contract Regulations 2015 processes and documentation.
  • Strong supplier stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • CIPS qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a complex procurement project across an ICS.
  • Knowledge and experience of conducting competitive exercises via nationally approved frameworks.
  • Ability to provide detailed feedback and reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in project managing complex, high-value PCR procurement exercises.
