Job Description

Senior Technical Architect - Hyperconvergence - Staffordshire, West Midlands - Nutanix, Dell, HP, Hyperconverged, Storage, Networks Security Solutions, Technical DesignerOur Staffordshire-based client is looking to hire a Senior Technical Architect with a background in hyper-converged systems. Working on complex projects, you will have a proven background in designing and delivering hyper-converged solutions with Nutanix, Dell, or HP technologies. If you havent worked with the Hyperconverged solutions, but have worked with Nutanix, Dell, or HP networks, security, and storage technologies separately, this would also be considered.The technology stack is as followsHardware

  • Recent experience in designing and delivering solutions using hyper converged infrastructure technologies (Eg. Nutanix, Dell, HP)
  • Networking (Switching, Routing, physical and virtual, etc.)
  • Security (Firewalls, IDS, etc.)
  • Storage (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, etc.)
    • Virtualisation
  • Desktop
  • Server
  • VDI
    • Security
  • Mobile Device Management and Virtual Private Networks
  • System audit and analysis
  • Designing HMG accreditable services
    • Product
  • Windows Server
  • Exchange Server
  • SQL Server
  • VMware Cloud Services (incl. VDI)
  • Mobile Device Management (Eg Airwatch)
  • Networking (CCNA/CCNP)
  • Backup and/or Storage
  • Enterprise Antivirus (preferably McAfee)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (Eg RSA SecurID)

    • You will be joining a close-knit team of 6, with a great working environment that has been maintained whilst everyone is currently working remotely. Post lockdown, the plan is to be in the office every day.This is a great opportunity for a candidate who enjoys being professionally challenged - This business solves complex technology problems for a range of public sector businesses. As such you must be eligible and willing to undergo a security clearance.This business doesnt just design technical solutions; they work with their clients to solve technical problems. As well as being an architect, you must be happy to get hands-on with the solution to develop the POC, as well as be client-facing and able to work with the stakeholders to create a solution that really solves their problems.The client is offering a salary of circa £65,000, and this role is based in Staffordshire, which is commutable from Cheshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, and the West Midlands.
