Job Description

SEND Lecturer - Immedtiate StartMorgan Hunt is currently working with a leading Further Education College in Staffordshire, who are looking for an experienced SEND Lecturer.Job Role: SEND LecturerStart Date: AsapLocation: StaffordshireDay Rate: £24.00-£28.00 per hourHours: Full timeWe are looking to appoint a SEND Lecturer, the suitable candidate for this role will need to use their previous experience to work closely with students with MLD.You will need to be enthusiastic, patient, and an approachable person with a passion for learning and teaching!Key responsibilities

  • Develop innovative and forward-thinking approaches to learning and communication tools to maximise pupil potential and learning opportunities.
  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with pupil needs and outcomes at the core.
  • To safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils at all times.
  • To model best practice approaches and support staff through challenging episodes with children.
Skills & experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Certification regarding any SEND training completed
  • Experience of working with SEN learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex and conceptual ideas to a range of groups.
