Job Description

The Company Overview:Butler rose are exclusively partnered with a vibrant, collaborative, and well-established resort based in Staffordshire. They are now looking to recruit a Revenue Analyst who will be key to ensure maximisation of volume and yield whilst delivering a greatconsumer experience. This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a finance role that is intertwined with marketing and there are plenty of opportunities to develop and progress within the company.This is a permanent position, and after the induction period is complete, a hybrid model is available.Your new role as a Revenue Analyst:Your duties will include:Develop a clear understanding of the impact of all marketing activity on volume and yield and input into budget and forecast production. Report accurately and on time to all key internal customers.To ensure that rates and tiers are in place to reward and encourage an early booking trend.To monitor and spot key changes in activity or trends in booking patterns and report to management.Develop key relationships with internal and external customers to ensure that all relevant information is collated as input into the budget or forecast.Work closely with Trade & Promotions team to ensure maximisation of sales and ensure all ticket types are set upEnsure that correct tickets are available at the right prices across all relevant sales channelsManage capacity and channel mix by monitoring ticket sales and adjusting channel capacities and pricing accordinglyAnalyse the effectiveness of all marketing activity and feedback into department accurately and on time in order to create continual increasing levels of ROI on expenditure.Make recommendations for improvements in revenue through our approach to discounting, promotions, yield control, allocation management, business mix and pricing.Produce weekly forecasts and reports to review ahead of weekly trading calls with Directors and Management.Ensure that all analytical work is complete to produce the annual budget document which can be allow for scenario planning and changes.Manage the product portfolio within Accesso to ensure that the system is configured correctly from point of booking right through to the Financial Reporting.Marketing duties:Analyse volume and yield performance on an ongoing basis for input into marketing activity for driving further revenue.Ensure operations have an accurate forecast for volume in order to maximise cost efficiency.Monitor all sales channel activity (call centre/internet/trade sales/corporate events) as input into revenue budget.To gain an overview of all available data sources within Sales & Marketing (, Opera, Accesso, TM1) by working closely with S&M Management and IT.To compile and analyse performance data, including volume, revenue, promotional and advance sales analysis to optimise yield and provide timely informed recommendations for future activity and strategies for driving further revenue.Perform price elasticity modelling to understand price and volume sensitivity to inform in year and longer-term pricing approachThe Experience & Qualifications Required:The successful Candidate shall be/have:At least 5 years experience in an Analytical role- Revenue, Commercial, Operational and Finance Planning Analyst or a similar role is essentialMarketing experience would be an advantageProactively spot trends and advise root causeUse data to advise on activity to drive additional revenueAdvanced template & modelling skillsAccurate and clear work outputPresentation skills that can be understood by all Business usersConfident communication to senior stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, VBA and similar Business Intelligence/Analytics software, Power BISolid commercial/analytical acumen and sound creative judgementExcellent communications (written & verbal), influencing and relationship building skills including working in a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholdersPrevious use of Accesso, Opera or similar systems preferredCultural fit in a down to earth, results driven, non-political, entrepreneurial, roll up your sleeves to get a job done environmentYour Reward & The Package On Offer:As a Revenue Analyst, you shall receive:A salary between £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience25 days Holidays + Bank holidaysPensionExclusive employee events and monthly incentivesDiscounts and perks at restaurants and retail shopsLife AssuranceAccessible employee transport linksInterested Apply or get in touch on (M): or (T): to speak to Sonia Sidje to discuss the role further!Who Are Butler RoseButler Rose specialises in the recruitment of accountancy and finance professionals, from transactional and part-qualified appointments through to Group FDs.With offices in Manchester, Preston, Leeds, Birmingham, Exeter, London, Milton Keynes and Southampton, we work with a range of businesses across the UK from SMEs and local accountancy firms to large Plcs and the Big 4, as well as many public sector and not-for-profitorganisations.
