Job Description

Working on behalf of our client a market leading engineering company. We are currently recruiting for an Instrument Pipefitter for a permanent role. Key Duties:

  • Install, assemble, and secure instrument tubing and piping systems according to engineering specifications.
  • Ensure accurate measurement, cutting, and bending of tubing to meet project requirements.
  • Integrate various instrument components, including transmitters, gauges, and control valves, into the tubing and piping systems.
  • Connect tubing to instruments, junction boxes, and control panels.
  • Working at various sites across the UK
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter or Instrument Pipefitter.
  • Knowledge of instrument tubing materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Familiarity with various instrumentation components, including pressure transmitters, flow meters, and control valves.
  • City & Guilds Basic Engineering and Engineering Systems Competence
  • Willingness to work away from home in the week.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
