Job Description

Working on behalf of our client a market leading engineering company. We are currently recruiting for a Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation Engineer (EC&I) for a permanent position.Key Duties:

  • Designing electrical control systems and instrumentation for industrial processes and machinery.
  • Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
  • Collaborating with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation
  • Conducting thorough testing of control systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Commissioning systems to make them operational and integrated with existing infrastructure.
  • Contribute to project proposals, estimating costs, and establishing realistic timelines for successful project execution.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, nurturing their growth as future sustainability leaders.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
  • HND in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering as a minimum.
  • Experience in ATEX equipment and intrinsically safe circuits
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to Details
  • Able to communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Able to work well under pressure.
What our client can offer in return:
  • Salary up to £54,000 per annum DOE
  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm - Friday 7:30am - 2pm
