Job Description

Alexander Steele are delighted to be supporting an exciting independent British drinks brand to recruit a new Digital Marketing Manager.Digital Marketing Manager - West Midlands - Flexible Working Options 1/2 days a week in the office.

  • Package: Up to £30k + 10% Bonus + Benefits
Over the last 5 years, our client has experienced a exceptional period of growth, nearly doubling in size and delivered unprecedented wins in both the On and Off trades. The company now has ambitious targets to become one of the largest independent brewersin their industry in the UK over the next 3 years.The new Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop a Digital Marketing Strategy, as well as helping develop the website, Online Shop & eCM systems. The company is based in Midlands, but remote working is encouraged- with the Managing Director hoping to meet with the successful hire at least 2 days per week in person.This really is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with modern and exciting marketing campaigns; working for an independent, British business helping to shape and take advantage of one of the biggest areas of growth in UK drinks industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDigital Marketing Strategy
  • Work closely with Head of Marketing to establish the digital marketing strategy for the company, in order to deliver marketing and commercial KPIs acorss; social media (paid and organic - Insta, FB, YT, Linkedin), website and webshop, SEO, eCRM, content,partners (venues, events, bloggers, media, influencers) product / pack strategy
Website, Online Sales & eCRM
  • Ownership of online sales strategy from awareness to sales conversion to advocacy
  • Webshop management: product availability, pricing, promotional plan, sales
  • Manage relationship with web agency to optimise website for sales
  • Accountable for managing and optimising our consumers and customer database
  • Designs and delivery of eCRM stategy and campaigns from acquisition to conversion
  • Ensuring all digital marketing channels are delivering a consistent message
  • Bi-weekly and monthly reporting to Head of Marketing & MD
Digital Media Management
  • Responsible for planning, managing and implementing digital media delivery awareness, engagement and conversion to sales
  • Working closely with paid digital media agency to build and deliver paid strategy
  • Plan, design and schedule organic content - evaluating success and optimising on a weekly basis to deliver KPIs (across FB, IG, TW, Linkedin & Youtube)
  • Identifying and working with key on-trade, bloggers, media and events partners to deliver a monthly plan of engaging content
  • Building an engaging content plan based in real life
  • Community management of social channels to maximise engagement
  • Manage social media intern (2 days p/w) to help deliver content & community management
Content Creation, Design & Management
  • Plan and produce monthly content ensuring we have appropriate content across our main digital channels - Photography, UGC, design assets, video, .gif, reels etc
  • Become the lead copywriter for all digital content including; website, blogs, social posts and emails
  • Develop SEO optimised content on our website including blogs, images, videos etc
  • Make sure colleagues and partners are equipped, in good time, to support you with content creation
  • Plan in any additional content creation photography, design etc with third parties with clear brief, budget, timings and deliverables to support the plan
  • Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to across all digital marketing channels, both internally and externally
  • Maintain a database of all created content
  • Support additional design requests including; POSM, packaging adaptations, sales tools
Reporting
  • Establish a digital marketing dashboard which is visible to key stakeholders at all times and shows our digital performance across a number of KPIs
  • Compile weekly & monthly performance reports to track campaign results
  • Lead ongoing online competitor brand / category / cultural events research which allows us to act upon live insights and trends to evolve and optimise our plans and campaigns regularly in the fast-changing environment
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in digital marketing or similar, ideally with 2+years work experience
  • Passionate about digital marketing, eCommerce and design
  • Digital platform expereicne: Wordpress, WooCommerce, Mailchimp, Sprout, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads manager, Google Analytics
  • Design ability; InDesign, Adobe, video editing
  • Versatile across all channels including: SEO, web UX/UI, paid advertising, social media, email marketing, content creation and great analytical ability
  • Great communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial reporting skills
  • Adaptable and able to prioritise
  • Ability to work with data and act upon the insights
  • Important to bring a naturally curious mind
