Job Description

Cloud Ops Engineer - Software Industry - North EnglandWe are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Ops Engineer to join a leading software company in North England. You will be responsible for the successful deployment, scaling and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure and applications.The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills and experience with AWS CloudOps and DevOps tools. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and need to be able to work autonomously and with minimal guidance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain AWS rchitecture
  • Design, develop and maintain automation of AWS infrastructure and applications
  • Deploy and maintain web and application servers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Monitor and optimize performance
  • Develop and maintain security policies
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in AWS and DevOps
    • SSM
    • EC2 (including ALB/NLB)
    • KMS
    • S3
    • Permission models and/ore IAM that includes policies, users and groups
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash
  • Knowledge of security best practices
  • experience in Linux Administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, Unix)
  • MSSQL Server 2016/SP1 +
  • VPN using technologies like AWS VPG or Strongswan
