Job Description

Clerk of WorksLocation: StaffordshireTemporary Ongoing ContractRate: £26 - £32 per hourSellick Partnership Ltd are currently assisting one of our Staffordshire based clients with the recruitment of a Clerk of Works to join their team on a temporary ongoing basisDuties of the Clerk of Works:

  • Making visual inspections taking measurements and samples on site to make sure that the work and the materials meet the specifications and quality standards
  • Having a working knowledge of health and safety legislation and bring any shortfalls observed to the attention of the person concerned
  • Monitor and report on inspection and test plan sign offs with main contractors
  • Conduct observations and inspections to compliment stage inspections in line with NHBC processes
Requirements of the Clerk of Works:
  • Ideally from a Trades/Construction/Property Services background
  • Educated to NVQ Level 5/HND or equivalent (desirable)
  • Understanding and/or training in audit process
  • RICS/CIOB/CQI or similar membership (desirable)
