Job Description

Temporary Works Engineer - I am currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Works Engineer to join a company which specialise in design work within the Construction industry, based in Cambridgeshire. This role is anexciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer with a strong background in temporary work designs.This role requires a degree qualified or experienced Temporary Works Engineer, with excellent knowledge and a qualification within Structural engineering. This role requires a Structural Designer with experience within the Construction industry, specificexperience in scaffolding or temporary works would be highly advantageous and a familiarity with steel or aluminium design.This role requires a Structural Design Engineer with experience of using BS/EN international standards and the most successful individual will have excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and frame analyses packages. If successful, you will be involved in checkingstructural temporary work schemes, temporary works access product design management. The Structural Design Engineer will be working on design drawings and will be involved in carrying out compliance checks and calculations taking there through to prototypingand launch.Temporary Works Engineer Position Overview

  • Working as part of a small design team

Temporary Works Engineer Position Requirements
  • Ideally a degree in a related industry
  • Knowledge of Scaffolding or temporary works
  • Knowledge of steel or aluminium design
  • Experience in Structural Steel Systems / Scaffold / Formwork / Falsework
  • Excellent experience of AutoCAD
  • Previous experience in a similar role to this
  • UK Driving Licence
Temporary Works Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £35K - £55K
  • Pension contribution
  • 25 days + BH
  • Working hours: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday
