  • Strong work ethic
  • Experience working with primary school children
  • QTS
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
  • Able to be flexible and adhere to the needs of the pupils in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
  • Be able to plan engaging lessons for KS1/2 students in line with school policies
  • Ensure the curriculum has been thoroughly covered in lessons
  • Keeping up to date with marking and feedback
  • Making sure pupils stay on task by managing disruptive behaviour
  • Setting a good example for pupils
  • Attending staff meetings and liaising with colleagues
  • Ensuring safeguarding for all students.
