Job: Stores Person / Material HandlerHours: 07.30-17.00 / Monday to Friday (45-hour week)Salary: £10.50 - £12.00 p/hType: Temp to PermLocation: Croxton (St Neots)Interaction Recruitment are currently seeking a Stores Person / Materials Handler for their client in Croxton, near St Neots.You will be responsible for all stock control on site so there is a variety of internal & external work. Due to the nature of this position Forklift Counterbalance Licence is essential, there is scope for internal refresher training however it would be advantageousto have an independent.This is a new role within the business so although there has been a task list developed, the role will evolve with the successful candidate in post.Daily Duties & Responsibilities: Cycle counting for high moving stock items once per week. Collate all materials for each job on to one pallet (utilising the E2 software). o Ensure this is clearly marked for other operatives and advise of any material shortages. Packing small orders for delivery for 3rd party couriers. Generally, keep on top of the materials in the stores being in the appropriate bins To process incoming deliveries in a timely fashion, ensuring they are stored in appropriate places and delivery notes are available to the office ASAP Ensuring that we have sufficient level of packaging materials - bubble wrap, pallets, shrink wrap, banding and clips, UK mail bags, boxes etc. Full stocktake at year end and mid-year. Loading and unloading goods with a forklift - i.e., tubes, plate etc and loading finished goods on to transport. Completing various paperwork - i.e., stock lists, collection/delivery notes, goods in checks/rejections etc. Loading/unloading various bottled gases - checking and advising on when gases need to be replenished (without letting us run out) Swap gas bottle on fork truck Updating weights on racking when adding/removing stock Visually checking racking once per month Empty tipper bins when required and move all rubbish accumulated by roller-shutter door in Unit 6 to skipsIf you feel you have the relevant experience then please submit your CV or call .
