A high power battery specialist firm based in Cambridge have an on-site initial 12 month contract opportunity for an Embedded C Engineer with experience working on various Micro Controllers (ARM, PIC, TI, Renesas) to join them working onsite on a highlyclassified development for aviation purpose.Senior Embedded Software EngineerYou will be working on a greenfield project development with a specialised team (involving Embedded, PCB, Mechanical, Electrical and dedicated project manager) on a state of the art high power system for Aviation development under NDA. The client are opento taking Ltd. Company contractors operating on an outside IR35 basis (following a QDOS role assessment) and the client are willing to pay a premium rate in order to secure the best talent. You will be joining a newly established contract team that are workingon this development as the Embedded Software expert.Senior Embedded Software Engineer RequirementsExpertise in Embedded C programming is the most important aspect as you will be the specialist in this area working alongside a team of 6 consultants devoted solely on this project. An awareness of EMC/EMI/ MIL/ environmental and harsh design considerationsare useful as is the ability to read schematics, if you can actually complete PCB Design/Development this is even better.
