For: Regional Technical Sales Manager - St Neots - £35,000 - £40,000 p.a. Meyer Scott Ref: VR/07870Our client who are market leaders within the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of flatglass rooflights.Now looking for a confident and effective Technical Sales Manager to join their busy Sales and Estimating Team in St Neots. You should have a proven track record of developing business opportunities, the ability to deliver presentations and CPDs as well as working with architects, specifiers and contractors. Must be a skilled and experienced sales person who strives at building and maintaining strong working relationships with new customers and comfortable dealing with customers up to Director Level.Whilst the allocated region would include London and South East of England, there is a requirement to be based in the Head Office a good proportion of the week.Responsibilities would include:Improving the awareness of the company throughout the country and identifying short and long term opportunities.Assisting with the preparation and submission of professionally presented product design information, samples and budget proposals.Undertaking site surveys on refurbishment projects to obtain satisfactory information for estimating purposes.Develop strong and professional customer relationships and provide technical customer support, as necessary.Presenting CPDs to architects as and when required.Meet sales & margin targets and KPIs as set out by the Head of SalesMaintaining and updating all customer and opportunity records on in-house CRM system to ensure management are kept up to date on activities and opportunity statuses.Preparing activity reports for monthly sales meetings and assisting with quarterly and annual forecasting.Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge for both the Companys products and competitor products.Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity by gathering current marketplace information on products, pricing etc.Collecting and communicating customer requirements to all necessary departments.Assisting the companys marketing activities where required.Requirements:
