Projects Administrator/CoordinatorBedfordshire/CambridgeshireCommutable from Cambridge, Bedford, St. Neots, Huntingdon, Sandy, Royston, Hitchin£25,000-£30,000Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of full turnkey projects for food processing & packaging machinery. Due to expansion across the company they are looking for a Project Administrator/Coordinator to come on board and assist the daily duties ofthe project engineers/managers.Role & Responsibilities:*Ensure all administrative tasks are monitored, updated and completed for projects*Setting part numbers for orders, specifying parts and materials to send to purchasing*Internal project progress chasing across all areas of the business*Organising shipping of products*Manage and maintain the contents of the projects folder database*Preparation of the layout drawings for customer approvals*Maintain information on the "projects whiteboard" in the office, with regular updates*Update weekly - sales orders and project progress charts*Collate and control project image portfolio - update & reviews*Update BOMs - assist design engineers with formulation of BOMsKnowledge, Skills & Experience:*Must have strong administrative and organisational skills*Have worked in an engineering projects function *Be a strong, clear & effective communicator as will be liaising with customers, projects, design, sales, technical and factory managers*Need to be technical minded and astute*Any experience of using databases - Excel, SAP etc.*Ideally have knowledge of project schedules, delivery timeframes, BOMs*Will consider project engineers that may want to take a "step-back" into administrative role*Able to read and interpret engineering drawingsBenefits Package:*Salary:- £25,000-£30,000*Benefits:- Government Pension, Expenses Paid, 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays SE19795 / 612"To apply please email your CV / resume to [ ]".If you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant, Chris Gumm on .
