Job Description

Press Brake Setter and Operator / Sheet Metal Worker Immediate Start Available - Permanent PositionSalary To £28,392 Pa with Time and Half Overtime Rate - Good Hours Available Location: St. Neots - Sandy areaOwn Transport Required Due The CompanyslocationEstablished specialised precision engineering company requires a Press Brake Setter and Operator / Sheet Metal Worker to join their skilled work force.It is essential for candidates to have significant experience of working within a Sheet Metal manufacturing and be able to read, understand and be able to work from drawings.Candidates should be aware of self-inspection and quality procedures as well as general engineering good practice.Required Skills, Experience:

  • Experience in setting / operating Amada CNC break-press or any other CNC break-presses
  • Experience in CNC punch press would be an advantage
  • Experience in manual break-press machinery
  • Experience in using an Amada guillotine would be an advantage
  • Candidates need to be able to read and have good understanding of engineering drawings
  • Experience in measuring / marking out is required
  • Be proficient with the use of various hand tools and mechanical equipment for sheet-metal
Hours: Monday - Friday, working a 39-hour week with a 12.00 mid-day finish on a Friday.Salary: £28,392 pa with overtime at time and a half - Good hours availableLocation: St. Neots, Sandy area.Applicants will need to have their own transport due the companys location.Please bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
