Role: Mechanical Design EngineerSalary: £30,000-£45,000 per annum - Dependant on ExperienceLocation: St Neots, CambridgeshireHours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-16.00pm (Flexibility for early & later finishes) - 37.5 Hours Per WeekJob Type: Full time, PermanentThe Client:Interaction have partnered with a leading design and manufacturer of gas compression system, heavily orientated surrounding the medical industry. Due to expansion, this client is looking to welcome a skilled mechanical design engineer to the team on a fulltime permanent basis.The Role:- Design and Produce bespoke drawings for an array of clients, predominantly in the medical industry. You will be designing bespoke medical, vessel and gas compression systems on an industrial scale- Ordering Materials for job packs inclusive of laser & folder parts alongside raw materials- A huge array of work variety and exciting industry leading designs, working of machined component design, new product design and covering design- Communicate with clients, accounts and purchasing to ensure correct partsRequirements:- Previous experience as a mechanical design engineer within a manufacturing environment, similar industries may include precision engineering, medical, automotive, Air Compression -Essential- Previous experience using AutoCad, Autodesk & Inventor Software - Essential- Relevant Qualifications (HNC, HNC, Degree level - or equivalent) - Essential- A hands on mechanical engineering background, previous experience as a mechanical engineer either workshop or site based.- Ability to read technical drawings- A good level of communication and ability to liaise with both clients and managementInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
