Our OSI Electronics (OSIE) division is a diversified manufacturer of electronic devices and value-added manufacturing services.The successful Material Handler will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the materials department, performing the relevant stores process assigned including Goods In, material location, PI-counting, kitting, de-kitting, packing, despatch, internalcounter service.Whats on Offer

Key Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
  • Working in accordance with the quality process maps to achieve KPIs set for the department.
  • Receive and unload goods, check item against relevant paperwork, update information onto ERP system.
  • Allocate goods to appropriate storage area and maintain stock accuracy, undertake cycle counts, investigate stock inaccuracies, resolve issues and advise the Materials Manager accordingly.
  • Pick/pack kits utilising reports from the ERP system.
  • Ensure materials are accurately identified, undamaged, counted, measured and stored in to and out of their location and record onto the ERP system.
  • To comply with quality and environmental management systems (ISO9001, 13485 & 14001).
  • Ensure all items despatched include appropriate documentation including certificates and work closely with all areas across the business with relevant supporting paperwork.
  • Notify the Materials Manager of any discrepancies between non-conformance order information and paperwork.
  • Prepare customer orders and returned goods for packing and despatch.
  • Ensure material movement issues are recorded using the ERP system.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in similar Material Handler role
  • Ideally computer literate with knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook & computerised stock control systems.
  • Strong English written and oral skills.
  • Electronics background preferred but not essential as you will be required to identify a wide range of electronic component types by visual inspection of parts.
  • Full clean drivers license if possible.
