Job Description

Games Tester - St NeotsOur client is looking for a team of enthusiastic people who will be responsible for ensuring their partners games are free from all errors, is appropriate for the market, and give an enjoyable and totally immersive experience to the end user. Main Responsibilities: Follow the documented processes at all stages of the testing process Verify that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly Carry out specific checks in a consistent and thorough manner as part of a structured test plan Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in a bug database Write up bug reports to a very high standard Communicate and flag major issues or concerns immediately to the team and Project Lead Ensure that correct terminology is used Other duties as requested by the line manager Requirements Passionate about video games, with good gameplay skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Strong communicator, with tact and diplomacy Computer literacy: word processing, database handling, record keeping, good working knowledge of MS Office Suite Quality focused with a keen eye for detail Strong organisation skills and able to manage time effectively Team player, ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines Pro-active, tenacious and enthusiastic Willing to undertake further training to meet the demands of the role These positions are being recruited for a project and will need commitment for 4 - 8 weeks and they will be paying the national minimum wage dependant on age.
