Job Description

Role: Electronics EngineerSalary:£38,000-£48,000 per annumHours: 4.5 day working week, 39 hours per week.Monday-Thursday 08.30-17.30, Friday 08.30-13.30 + Overtime AvailableLocation:St Neots, CambridgeshireJob type: Full time, PermanentInteraction have partnered with a world leading aerospace manufacturing client that have been in operation for over 60 years. Due to expansion, we are supporting this client in recruiting for a manufacturing engineers within the electronics aircraft interior department.The Package:

The Role:
  • To work in a medium/low volume electronics manufacturing environments -this can include surface mounts, PTH, PCBA cleaning & conformal coating.
  • Assist the production managers to select, install & commission of new plant/equipment
  • Work closely alongside the technical planning departing to ensure manufacturing instructions, manufacturing drawings & process specifications are efficient & proficient in ensuring smooth operations
  • Collaborate with first build electronic & electro-mechanical assemblies
  • The use of Solidworks to work on/off of design drawings
  • Implement a lean manufacturing process
What we need from you:
  • Previous Experience working within medium-low volume electronics manufacturing environment (2 years desirable)
  • Understanding of Solidworks electrical (desireable)
  • Previous experience working in aerospace/defence manufacturing industries
  • A understanding of SAP & Computer aided design
  • A good understanding of electronics engineering with practical hands on experience
