Location: St Neots (PE19)Duration: PermanentHours: 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am until 1:00pm on a FridaySalary: Up to £34,000Job Reference: 35022Polytec are looking for an Electronic Engineer - Test for our St Neots based client. This role is ideal for Fresh degree graduates with a high aptitude who can demonstrate good electronics fundaments. Responsibilities:* Ensure product meets performance and quality requirements through testing * Develop and implement automated scripts to efficiently analyse test results* Diagnose faults to component level* Conduct root cause investigation, propose appropriate corrective actions and generate failure reports* Capture test requirements and coverage developing appropriate test strategies* Design, develop, implement and verify both automated and manual test systems and rigsRequirements:* At least and HND in Electronics/Electrical Engineering* Significant practical experience on the bench, production testing and fault finding to component level of practical power electronics and/or analogue electronics based circuits, preferably in switch mode power supplies* Ability to solder* A strong foundation in fundamental electronics principles* Experience in the design, build and commission of manual and automated production test sets* Ability to carry out root cause analysis down to component level in electronicsPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
