Job Title: CNC MillerLocation: St Neots, CambridgeshireSalary Range: £37,000 - £40,000Job Type: Full-Time, Monday – FridayJoin our dynamic team as we seek a highly skilled and experienced professional for the role of 5-Axis CNC Miller. As a prominent player in the manufacturing industry, we specialize in delivering top-tier precision components across diverse sectors. Thispresents an exciting opportunity for an adept individual with a background in 5-axis CNC milling to contribute to our ongoing success.Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set up 5-axis CNC milling machines to craft precise components in alignment with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Program and fine-tune machine settings to optimize both production output and quality.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and address any machine issues to ensure consistent optimal performance.
  • Perform meticulous quality checks and inspections to validate finished products against design requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to assess and enhance machining processes, fostering efficiency and productivity.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, encompassing machine settings, tooling changes, and production logs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a 5-Axis CNC Miller or in a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in the setup and operation of 5-axis CNC milling machines.
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC programming and G-code.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Thorough understanding of machining processes.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Positive attitude, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
