CareTech Needs You!In the light of the Coronavirus Pandemic our staff are working under additional pressure to provide support to our Service Users so there has never been a better time to Volunteer.We are urgently looking for Volunteers to provide support in a variety of Locations across the country!We have a number of services local to where you reside that support Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health.The work is varied and may involve:- Shopping- Laundry- Gardening- General Cleaning- Cooking- General MaintenancePrevious care Experience is not necessary, however you will need to share some of the same Values as our own staff to make a real difference to the people we support:Our Values- Person Centred- Friendly- Innovative- Empowering- PositiveHours are flexible and the work is unpaid, however reasonable travel expenses can be claimed.Full training will be given on site as this is a Key Worker role.Applications are invited from those who do not fall under the high risk categories (as per the Gov.UK guidelines and will be subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, evidence of Right to Work in the UK .Due to the nature of the work we will need to apply for an Enhanced Level DBS check regulated against Vulnerable Adults and Children.
