Position: Engineering ManagerLocation: Stamford + Some Working from HomePackage: Salary up to £75,000 + car allowance, bonus, pension and private medicalThe Role: A new position has now been created for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow our clients engineering team in the Stamford area. Our client design, test and manufacturer a range of bespoke electronic devices herein the UK and have a multidiscipline team of 10 engineers currently. The main function of this role will be to lead the team whilst staying close to the design process, therefore a background in mechanical or electronics design is desired.Key Skills and Experience Required* R&D team management and leadership* Experience delivering projects on time and within budget* Technical background - mechanical or electronics design* Experience liaising with internal stakeholders and customersOur client is looking for a technology focused manager and you can expect this role to be split between technical leadership and people management, so you will remain close to the design work and involve some hands-on tasks. You will also oversee projectsfrom requirements stages all the way through to completion and should be comfortable assigning task work, overseeing designs and testing strategies and reporting updates and project ideas to the business.This role will be predominately office based and will report directly to the Technical Director with some remote working available when appropriate. On offer is the chance to take on a lead role in a growing company with a package including a salary of upto £75,000 plus car allowance, bonus, pension and private medical insurance.
