Job Description

A perfect place to work!East Sussex Healthcare Trust is offering the opportunity to join our maternity team and is seeking enthusiastic support workers with an interest in providing excellent evidence based care to women and their families during pregnancy.As a maternity support worker within the maternity day unit you will ensure that women and their babies receive high quality care and an excellent experience whilst visiting the day unit or attending out patients appointments. The role involves supporting the midwives and obstetric team to provide care during pregnancy. In addition, you will act as advocate for patients within the area, ensuring a patient orientated approach to the delivery of care.We are a tight knit team working closely together to provide women and their families with high quality, evidence based midwifery care.
