We have a brand-new exclusive opportunity for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer with a track record of developing technically sound solutions for real-world commercial applications to join a fast-growing technology company in Cambridge.The work is technically challenging, financially rewarding and offers superb opportunity for career development. At any given point in time, you could be planning a new project or engaged in hands-on development of circuit level digital and analogue hardwarefor applications such as novel medical devices, or a complex instrumentation system; or you could be researching an emerging and potentially disruptive new technology for possible commercial exploitation. Boredom will never be an issue!The company is dynamic, fast moving and incredibly successful, they put a high degree of emphasis on personal support and development.To be considered for the role of Senior Electronics Engineer you need the following:* A 2.1 or 1st class BEng or MEng degree in Electronic Engineering (or possibly Applied Physics, Computer Science, or other closely related subject)* At least 5 years experience developing novel products / systems for commercial application* Solid analog electronics design skills* Ideally some experience in power electronics, circuits generating or operating at high voltages (kV) and high currents(kW)* Commercial awareness* Excellent interpersonal skills - this role will involve regular contact with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)Working model: hybrid remoteLocation: Cambridgeshire (Commutable from Cambridge, St Neots, Letchworth, Hitchin, Bedford, Huntingdon, St. Ives, Sandy etc.)
