Job Description

Business Development Executive Remote – Cambridgeshire £40,000 DOE + Car Allowance + Bonus + other benefits Are you looking to work in a well-established business with backing from a global organisation Are you looking to work for a business that has an extensive portfolio The Advocate Group is currently looking for a Business Development Executive to join an exciting team that is very well established in the Food sector. Key responsibilities:

  • Increasing and maintaining sales with new and existing customers.
  • Prospecting and developing relationships with potential customers.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through regular interaction.
  • Working closely with customers regarding sales development in line with agreed business strategy.
  • Able to use data analysis to find range gaps/headroom potential and create JBP accordingly.
  • Able to represent the company at customer and industry events.
  • Travel abroad to sites in Europe for meetings with the wider team.
  • Present and promote the benefits of our product range.
About You:
  • Good levels of MS Office suite and high levels of PC literacy including experience with digitalisation change programmes.
  • Some experience using social media platforms for business applications such as marketing.
  • Experienced in field sales/account management.
  • A team player who is able to multi task and work cross functionally with other areas of the team.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to work with a structured and consistent approach.
  • Ability to forecast and track sales metrics in line with agreed objectives.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
