Job Title: Warehouse ManagerSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annumLocation: St HelensThe Role : Our client are looking to hire a Warehouse manager for their site in ST Helens. The Warehousing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehousing activities within the Warehouse. The primary objective is to ensure efficiency and best practices,leading a team to achieve consistent levels of accuracy, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:* Take ownership of health, safety, and well-being to instil a safety-first culture.* Collaborate with the team to maintain stock integrity.* Receive and inspect all goods, checking for damages and ensuring the quality meets standards.* Enter received goods into the computer system, correlating them with purchase orders.* Accurately pick stock items, ensuring compliance with outgoing paperwork and customer requirements.* Liaise with trade counter customers and carriers.* Manage and plan transportation to meet customer delivery expectations.* Oversee the Site Compliance Plan, assisting with external audits.* Conduct daily stand-up meetings to communicate performance, targets, and relevant information.* Provide coaching and mentoring to the warehouse team for enhanced engagement and effectiveness.* Ensure hygiene standards are consistently maintained in all areas of responsibility.* Manage warehousing processes for accurate booking in and out of stock.* Foster a culture of exceptional presentation standards for all finished products.* Take charge of day-to-day warehousing operations for a timely and effective inbound and outbound flow.* Optimise warehouse space for efficient and safe stock movement.* Demonstrate resilience and ambition to build and drive long-term Warehousing excellence.* Embrace a change instigator mindset to lead continuous improvement and change culture.* Act as an ambassador for company values, adhering to all policies and procedures.Requirements:* In-date FLT Counterbalance licence.* Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing warehousing environment or a similar role.* Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.* Practical knowledge and training experience in Warehouse Management Software.* Computer literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.* Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritising abilities.* Possess a full current driving licence.* Able to work flexible hours as required and to travel as needed to meet business needs.Benefits* Bereavement leave* Company events* Company pension* Cycle to work scheme* Employee discount* Enhanced maternity leave* Enhanced paternity leave* Health & wellbeing programme* Life insurance* On-site parking* Private medical insurance* Store discountTime Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
