Tool Hire SupervisorWe have an exciting opportunity to join our Jewsons team based in St Helens. This role is a full time, permanent position.Working hours as follows: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 17.00, plus every alternate Saturday 08.00 - 12.00pmKey Requirements:

• Full Clean Driving Licence, be comfortable and able to drive 3.5 tonne vehicle & trailer
• Background with knowledge of tools / engineering for example
• Supervisory or team leading experience
• Previous experience in Tool Hire but not essential
• Mechanical background, you will be servicing and maintaining all tool hire equipment

You will be in regular contact with our Customers and therefore youplay a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience. In order to support our customers and deliver a great service you will;

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
• Supervising a small team to ensure that great relationships are developed with new and existing Customers, understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, keeping customers updated throughout their journey
• Collaborate with the wider network to support Customer requirements and business activities
• Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth
• You may be occasionally required to carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of our tool hire equipment in the workshop
• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
