Job Description

Position: School Business ManagerLocation: KnowsleyContract: Temp - PermStart Date: ASAP Satis Education are working in partnership with our client in Knowsley, to recruit for a School Business Manager. We are looking to appoint a dedicated and forward-thinking School Business Manager to provide strong leadership and support within their school.Key purpose of the job: The School Business Manager has a key strategic position within the school to:

  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to the Principal and Governors in the strategic and day to day management of the school operations.
  • Provide strategic leadership and development of the business and resources functions of the school and its estate in line with overall Trust policies and procedures.
  • Provide strategic vision of all aspects of business services, including HR, facilities and estates, school administration, catering, IT, governance and regulatory and health and safety.
  • Lead on designated aspects of finance and admissions and attendance, working in collaboration with school and Trust leads.
  • Manage the contracts for the school e.g. cleaning, catering, caretaking.
  • Develop links with the wider Trust, community, families, and local environment.
  • Be an active member of the School Leadership Team.
