Job Description

Safer Estates Risk Identification OfficerWarrington - Covering Warrington, Liverpool and St HelensFull time12 month fixed term contract£26,229The Safer Estates Team support Torus tenants from the negative effects of nuisance, anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breaches, using a range of early intervention tools to combat nuisance within our communities across Liverpool, St Helens & Warrington.This role will provide a high quality first point of contact and triage service for Torus tenants who require support. Triaging cases allocated to the Safer Estates Team and through assessment and triage identify key risk factors for customers at risk of domesticabuse.This is an important role in which you will: Triage cases received by the Safer Estates Team ensuring that Domestic Abuse isnt being categorised and treated as Anti-Social Behaviour Complete relevant risk assessment tools (MeRIT/DASH) to assess the level of risk and safety factors Ensure that customers are referred to the appropriate service to receive support to ensure safety and minimise risk, including internal and external referrals You will ensure all information is input into the Case Management System for auditing and reporting purposes You will provide administrative support to the Safer Estates Team in relation to the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) across Liverpool, Warrington and St Helens You will represent Torus at MARACTo be successful in this role you will: Have a track record of completing assessments and developing support plans with targets and outcomes for clients Have knowledge and experience of Safeguarding Practices and Procedures Have experience of crisis management, risk minimisation and of making decisions in difficult situations Have evidence of managing personal resilience when dealing with difficult situations and identifying mechanisms to deal with theseWhat Can Torus Group Offer YouWe offer a modern workplace that is challenging, supportive and gives you room to grow your skills - along with a package of benefits that shows how much we value your contribution and care about your wellbeing, such as: 25 days holiday rising to 30 plus bank holidays (pro rata) Holiday purchase scheme Company Pension Scheme Company life assuranceAbout Torus Group - Torus LandlordA growth and regeneration group with a strong social purpose, Torus works in partnership with Liverpool City Region and the Northwest to improve lives and create thriving, vibrant communities through support, investment, development and regeneration.We own and manage around 40,000 homes in Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool and beyond, making Torus the regions largest affordable housing provider.Profits generated by group members Torus Developments and HMS are reinvested into our charitable arm Torus Foundation, a community anchor institution, to fund projects that build social capital and fulfil our mission of growing stronger communities.Great Torus people share qualities we value highly.
