You will be paginating medical records for clients who specialise in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury claims. You will need good knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of hospital and nursing documentation.Excellent training will be provided for this medical pagination paralegal role. If you are looking at a change of career into an administration office role this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy progressive legal firm in their clinical/medical negligence department, deciphering doctors, clinical and medical notes and reports. Working within the clinical negligence department making sure notes and reports are accurately deciphered.Analysis and review of Medical Records in line with the circumstances of negligenceIndexing of Medical recordsPreparation of issue-based summaries and chronologies for instruction to experts on medical negligence cases with a good knowledge surrounding breach of duty and causationIdentifying pertinent missing or illegible medical recordsAdding to or amending to work already prepared for instructionYou will also need, strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, a methodical approach. IT skills - knowledge of Word & Foxit would be an advantage.
