Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - ManufacturingReference: Jo1967/NH/REEDLocation: St HelensSalary: £32,000 to £38,000 + Pension + Overtime Double Days based - Possibility of Continental Shift (£38k)The CompanyMy client, a leading manufacturer of specialist machinery and associated products, has recently undergone a facelift as a company which has given them increased presence in their well-established arena of expertise. They have been established for over 70 years and have a fantastic reputation, within their chosen marketplace, which has led to continued expansion. They have a presence, within manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality, leading a secure environment as part of this expanding group.Key Skills

  • Time-Served Apprenticeship Electrical or Mechanical
  • Good Solid Understanding of Elec and Mech Principles
  • Experience working with Inverters, PLCs, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
    • The RoleDue to further expansion, my client is looking to recruit into its engineering team, you will be involved in engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies, utilising a PPM system. On a day to day basis, you will be working on several fast moving manufacturing lines, driven by automated machinery. The ideal candidate will therefore come from a fast-paced production machinery background be a time served engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias with a multi-skilled pedigree.
