Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a well-motivated individual to join the Corporate Information Team within the trust to help support the delivery of an SLA with St Helens CCG. We wish to recruit an enthusiastic analyst with relevant experience to join the Performance Team, helping contribute towards the teams objectives both internally and externally. You will develop and deliver reporting in the form of dashboards via Microsoft PowerBi or Excel, as well as providing analysis for your key work areas. You will have an inquisitive mind and natural problem solving abilities, a proven track record in analytical delivery and experience of interrogating and analysing large and complex datasets.Key to meeting these challenges is database interrogation using SQL, and using excellent technical skills within excel to help aid the creation of performance dashboards, analysis and production of reports. You will play a key role in scoping, producing and presenting these analyses to senior managers and clinicians.You will be educated to degree level and/or equivalent qualification and experience and have experience in an analysis environment. You will possess strong analytical skills and have an extremely good working knowledge of Business Intelligence. You will have excellent communication/interpersonal skills.The post will support the Performance team in developing and monitoring performance across St Helens CCG as well as support on various work streams including Mental Health and Primary Care. The ideal candidate will know about the different NHS data sets, especially NHS Oversight Framework and have the desire to gain experience in a wide range of areas including SUS/SLAM. If you’re reliable, keen to develop, have good communication – verbal and written, able to work as part of a team and are flexible to meet competing demands, then we would welcome your application.
