Job Description

Securitas is encouragingand empowering diversity & inclusion in the workplace and has been recognised with both UK SuperBrand and UK Top Employer awards for 2020/21.Our client is Kelloggs, a well-known brand name within the family home.Recognised as the most trusted food and drink company in the UKHours and shifts pattern - 46.6hrs 3.88 days (plus 20days overtime per annum)(incl bank holidays)Who Were Looking ForTo be successful in this customer focused role, you will ideally have:

  • A strong Customer Service Focus
  • Efficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Will be computer literate
  • The availability to work 12-hour shifts covering day and night rosters (including weekends and Public Holidays.)
  • Based within a busy Gatehouse booking in and out visitors and vehicles.
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV.
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols.
  • Maintain all logbooks and records.
  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
  • Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors
  • Identify opportunities for improving practices and processes
Essential Skills The ideal person:
  • Hold a valid SIA Licence
  • Have the Right to work in the UK
  • Have five-year checkable employment/education history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Confident, articulate, and can communicate well orally and in written language
  • Computer skills
Desirable Skills
  • CCTV licence
  • First Aid Certificate
