Job Description

Tradewind are recruiting!Are you an English Intervention Teacher looking for a new challenge Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a large secondary school in St. Helens who are seeking a dedicated professional to start ASAP until the Easter holidays. The successful candidate willbe responsible for:

  • Delivering a Reading Recovery scheme of work to small groups of Key Stage 3 students
  • Identifying and assessing the needs of students requiring additional support
  • Planning and delivering targeted interventions
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of students
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers to support the integration of students back into the classroom
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A proven track record of delivering successful interventions
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
  • Experience working with small groups and individual students
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for helping students achieve their full potential
